Nagara means City. And Nagara interacts with the city-life and city-experience. Bengaluru is a city where people from different places come to find their dreams and aspirations. However, not many have found the time or the opportunity to be at home in this city. The 'Nagara' club intends to help its members find the home they left behind in their own cities. This club extends the classroom to the city-space and brings the city-space to the classroom.

Aims and objectives-

This club will assume a two-pronged approach to getting to know the city, especially Bengaluru, better:

A theoretical approach to understand the existing culture, its origin and evolution through generations, by engaging with readings, discussions and events.

An empirical perspective that allows the members to explore the city on their own terms — discovering the history of old neighbourhoods, finding a favourite spot where one can both reminisce about and feel at home; or acquiring a taste of their own in the mixed bag of culinary culture through food stalls and darshinis. 

This club will also emphasise on the need for archiving data collected through Its activities and otherwise, so that our current explorations leave enough space for the remnants of the past. 

Recording and preserving the memories of old settlers of the city with the newfound experiences of the current generation.
